New Leader Assimilation
The REACH™ program focuses on integrating a leader into a new organization or into a new role within the current organization. REACH is designed to provide support to a senior man or woman moving into a new position to ensure a smooth transition. Throughout the process, The Leader's Edge/Leaders By Design coach works closely with the participant, the manager and the Human Resources Department to build a solid foundation for success by identifying business goals, key stakeholders and first year's action plan.
The five-phase program combines executive coaching, personal and professional evaluation, and skills-building over a 9 – 12 month period. The process includes:
- Developing an understanding of the corporate environment and all relevant issues, establishing goals for the program, and initiating the 360° colleague interview process
- A thorough leadership development assessment
- An analysis of relevant business issues and challenges which includes a three-day skills-building Off-site
- Business goals and charter are established and reviewed with boss
- The new leader meets with his/her coach to review and measure performance against the established business and professional goals
- A second colleague interview process is conducted approximately 6 months into the program to measure the participant’s success in the new role
At the completion of the REACH program, the new leader is able to perform at a maximum level of effectiveness, the business goals and direction are set, relationships with superiors are established, and key alliances have been identified and enhanced.
The REACH program will leave the participant confident and highly productive in their new role.
