Lisa is a seasoned business executive with over 20 years of hands on experience in the Corporate and Private sector. As a senior consultant for The Leader’s Edge/Leaders By Design, Lisa’s expertise lies in the areas of team and focus group facilitation, executive coaching, and organization development.
Lisa brings an incredible amount of hands on experience in the areas of communications, leadership, sales and organization development. She has considerable expertise in working with high potentials to the COO level as well as understanding different cultures of people and the unique challenges that they face. She prepares leaders for the next level by building new competencies, imparting advice on leading change, and enhancing an executive’s decision-making skills. She works with specific targets and measures that are reflected in the development action plan that the executives create under her guidance and coaching. Lisa provides her clients with a safe trusted space to brainstorm and strategize challenging issues.
Lisa’s hands-on business experience was shaped in the financial industry with a concentration in leadership, competency and organization development for Merrill Lynch. As an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager, she oversaw employee and executive development for Financial Data Systems, Merrill Lynch Insurance and the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management businesses that included 5,000 employees.
Lisa has coached clients from a wide variety of organizations including, ESPN, HBO, BET, Con Edison, MetLife, IBM, Prudential, Novartis, Pfizer, Tiffany & Company, Lincoln Financial, Avon, TD Bank, Major League Baseball, KPMG, MasterCard International, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Time, Inc.
Lisa is certified in several distinctive programs in leadership training, 360° design and implementation, development of assessment tools and negotiating skills. Her certifications include: The Hogan Personality Inventory, MBTI, Life Styles Inventory, the NEO-PIR, Clark Wilson Group Executive 360° Assessment, Voices 360° and Eckerd College: The Leadership Development Institute.
Lisa has served as a Keynote speaker for Hobart and William Smith Colleges Leadership Institute and Con Edison’s Women in Engineering Programs. Her topics have included Strategic Networking, Executive Presence and Building a Personal Leadership Brand.
Lisa graduated from the University of Arkansas and holds a B.A. in Management. She is affiliated with ASTD, The National Charity League, the Fresh-Air Fund as a Host Parent, and the Executive Parents Association of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Lisa has served on the Board of Directors of The Wooster School in Danbury Connecticut for 10 years from 2000—2009.
