A Leadership Experience for Women of Color

This virtual program helps diverse women build their leadership skills, navigate the workplace, and implement practical strategies to increase their contributions to the organization.

Diverse women face unique experiences in the workplace based on their backgrounds that can lead to feelings of exclusion and being passed over for opportunities. The combination of individual coaching, skills development modules and the facilitator-led cohort calls gives support and guidance on accelerating career growth.

The program includes:

  • Five individual coaching meetings
  • Four virtual skills-building sessions
  • Four small group cohort meetings
  • Prestigious guest speakers
  • Assessments instruments with feedback
  • Professional Development Plan
  • Select readings to pull-through learnings

After completing the program, participants are prepared to contribute even more to their companies by:

  • Helping revenue growth with improved performance
  • Feeling empowered and better prepared to drive innovation
  • Leveraging new skills to lead others and navigate the workplace
  • Being energized and excited to remain with the company

Participants of The Experience are diverse women at the Director level and above (East, South or Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, Hispanic or Latino, Native/Indigenous American).

A Leadership Experience for Black Women is offered as a partnership between The Leader’s Edge/Leaders By Design and SYNC Worldwide – two firms dedicated to diversity, inclusion and equity in the workplace.
