TRACEY CANTARUTTI, PhD

Dr. Tracey Cantarutti is a Regional Vice President and executive coach with The Leader’s Edge/Leaders By Design. She has coached global senior executives from all over the world while working with multi-national organizations in a variety of industries including health care, packaging, high technology and food processing. Tracey has over 20 years of global business and team leadership experience, as both an executive and a consultant. She is a results-oriented talent management professional with a passion for enabling executives to reach their full leadership potential and a track record of motivating individuals and project teams to succeed.
Using an emotional intelligence framework, Tracey works with individuals and teams to help them become more self-aware as well as to understand others, in order to build more effective relationships that lead to success. She is experienced with numerous assessments including MBTI I & II, The Hogan, LSI, DiSC, the Birkman, and Denison assessment instruments. As a former executive, Tracey understands the issues leaders face and their environment, leading to deeper insights based on practical experience.
In her last corporate role, Tracey was a Vice President at Motorola, Inc. where she lead and developed teams in the Corporate Strategy office and a major business unit doing industry trend analysis, global strategy, marketing and market research as well as corporate brand strategy. In a special assignment, she worked with the Chairman and CEO where she learned the challenges of leadership at the top of multi-billion dollar organization.
Tracey holds a Ph.D. in Organization Development from Benedictine University, a Masters of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a B.A. from the University of Illinois. She is currently a Business Management professor at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and Pastoral Council Chair at Holy Family Catholic Community in Inverness, IL. Tracey is on the Board of Directors of a private Chicago company and co-founder of The Executive Women’s Network, a networking organization for current and former Motorola women executives. She is also a bilingual (Spanish) intake coordinator for the Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity in Palatine, Illinois.
