Valeria Mini is a Senior Learning Consultant at The Leader’s Edge and brings over seven years of experience in Human Resources to her role. Val began her career at Vanguard, where she held a variety of roles across HR and the organization.
Val started in Talent Strategy, where she led the execution of executive talent practices to support Vanguard’s broader business strategy. Her work included succession planning and talent review processes focused on identifying and developing high-potential talent. She also served as Chief of Staff for both Divisional and Corporate Talent Oversight Teams, further deepening her talent development expertise across the enterprise.
Val also played a pivotal role on the Executive Talent Development team, where she implemented and executed many of Vanguard’s executive leadership development programs. In this capacity, she partnered with HR Business Partners, external talent vendors, and business leaders to scale development programs across divisions and ensure impactful and seamless delivery. Val has partnered with vendors such as Workday and internal IT teams to automate and optimize talent processes to help enhance strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. She is passionate about finding innovative solutions to streamline talent programs to help drive impactful results.
In addition to her HR experience, Valeria also spent time within Compliance, where she focused on change management and earned her PROSCI certification. During this time, she led a major initiative to gather business requirements and coordinate cross-functional teams to successfully migrate Vanguard’s enterprise policy management system from a sunsetting technology to a new platform. She is also a certified Product Owner through Scrum Alliance.
Val specializes in leveraging her HR expertise and project management skills to align business outcomes with organizational goals, delivering value through thoughtful execution and collaboration.
Val obtained her BS from Saint Joseph's University and a post baccalaureate certification in Education from West Chester University. In her spare time, Val enjoys spending time with her family and friends, binge watching the latest shows, and reading.
