Lauren Gordon is a Senior Consultant with The Leader’s Edge who brings nearly two decades of corporate leadership experience as well as 10+ years of experience as a certified coach.

Lauren’s corporate career spanned both client-facing and leadership roles in sales, business development, relationship management, executive recruiting, and strategic human resources. She served as Chief of Staff to both the outgoing and incoming Chief Human Resources Officers at Vanguard, and she served as Head of Global Executive Recruiting, where she worked closely with C-suite hiring leaders, as well as partners in executive talent development and executive talent assessment. Most recently, Lauren served as a senior leader in an enterprise-wide cultural change program aimed at transforming the way leaders lead and employees work. In addition to her senior leadership responsibilities, Lauren worked directly with executive leaders across the globe to coach and develop new mindsets and behaviors that would increase employee engagement and drive business results.

Lauren has a passion for helping women leaders achieve career success in the workplace and live a fulfilling life outside the walls of work too. She is known for being an advocate for attracting, developing, and retaining female talent at firms, especially for high-achieving women who choose to also become working mothers. Lauren served as member of the leadership team for Vanguard’s Women’s Initiative for Leadership Success employee resource group, as well as Vanguard’s Break the Stigma community group that promotes a safe space for employees to talk about mental, emotional, and behavioral health for themselves and their loved ones.

Lauren is an accomplished facilitator who regularly delivers on topics including: overcoming imposter syndrome and building confidence, setting boundaries and addressing people-pleasing tendencies, improving time management and productivity without burnout, and navigating and making important career decisions.

Lauren's credentials include Certified Professional Coach (CPC) designations from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (2014), The Life Coach School (2020), and the Teleos Leadership Institute (2021). She is also recognized as an Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation.

Outside of her professional work, Lauren is an avid reader and loves taking Peloton running, cycling, and strength classes. She and her husband Eli are raising their three young daughters to be strong, influential, and kind future leaders.
